Welcome to the Mission Viejo Saddleback Valley Elks Lodge 2444

We are in the heart of Southern California, located in Mission Viejo, just two miles off the 5 freeway. 
We are known as the Friendliest Lodge in the Southern California District, come in and see for yourself!

Join us for
Monday or Friday night dinners (please check out our calendar for more details). Our weekly BINGO on Wednesdays is open to the public and our Snak Shak is serving food and desserts to keep you bingo players going. So come join us for our large BINGO Payouts and kitchen specialties you can only get at the Mission Viejo lodge!

Mission Viejo Elks Wins 2 Awards at CHEA Convention
The Mission Viejo Saddleback Valley Elks 2444 team was awarded First Place in the 2014-2015 Best Bulletin Contest. Our October, November and December Bulletins were the right combination! Also, the MV Elks won First Place for the Best Single Event Brochure Contest. The award went to the best media coverage on one single event. Our Event: Christmas Party for the Developmentally Challenged Men, Women and Children of the Saddleback Valley December 13, 2014.
Great honor for our team! Congratulations!

Youth Appreciation Night
May 1st through the 7th was Elks national youth week. On Tuesday May 5th, Mission Viejo Elks Lodge hosted an open meeting to honor our youth achievers.  The attendees included; essay competition winners, Girl Scouts gold award winners, hoop shoot champions and ENF scholarship recipients.

More than $3,251,000.00 has been contributed this year by members of Elks Lodges throughout California and Hawaii to be used in treating children with disabilities. Camacho Alvarez, Exalted Ruler of Mission Viejo Saddleback Valley Elks Lodge No. 2444, of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, contributed $19,191.15

MV Elks Charity Bingo Donates to Mission Hospital

Paying a visit to the Lodge initiation meeting were Mission Hospital Auxiliary Vice President Irene Dressler and Ways & Means Chairperson Ginny Moon. The two Mission Hospital representatives were there to thank the Elks Lodge members for their generous donation of $10,000. The donation is earmarked for the Hospital’s Neurological Science Spinal Institute. The funds were raised by the Elks Charity and Bingo Committees under the supervision of Lodge Charities Committee Chairman and District Deputy Designate Harvey Boelts.

MV Elks Help Veterans at Power Up

Your Mission Viejo Saddleback Valley Elks Lodge #2444 just spent a week with Veterans who are attending a transitional program called Power Up sponsored by Working Wardrobes/VetNet in Costa Mesa CA. The Elks are sponsoring lunch for the group each day this week as a small way to thank these Veterans for their service.

Run-A-Ways Campers Donate $1200
Pat Martino PER (right) accepts award from Exalted Ruler, Camacho Alvarez, for Run A Ways camping club for their annual donation to the Purple Pig Major Project. It was accepted by Wagon Master Pat on behalf of the club. The funds are raised at a 50/50 raffle held just for the club members attending every monthly campout throughout the year.

Get Ready! Marathon Bingo Fundraiser April 19th. Doors open at 8am, Warm-ups 9am, 1st Session 9:30am, 2nd Session 1pm ($40 buy-in). All Regular Games pay $250, Generous Pull Tabs, Free Lunch, Coffee & Pastries. All Proceeds go to Mission Viejo Hospital Neuroscience & Spine Institute.

Huge Crowd "Hops In" for Easter Brunch
“Zero to six years old, when I say go, run to find all the Easter Eggs that are hidden”, shouted House Committee Chairman Karen Barbagus as the Mission Viejo Elks presented their Easter Brunch and Kids Easter Egg Hunt under beautiful blue skies April 5th. The lodge opened at 9am to begin serving brunch, but some of the 186 guests could not wait for the omelet pans to strike-up and the waffle irons to get hot.

Join our Exalted Ruler Camacho Alvarez and the officer corps for a Monday night steak or Friday night Prime Rib. Check our calendar for a complete list of all of our events and activities.

The Mission Viejo Elks is a very active lodge with plenty to keep you and your family busy, and plenty of volunteer events to bring your family together.

Come in on a Friday night and enjoy live music and a fantastic dinner. Then stay the evening with us and get to know what it means to be an Elk. We know you will come back again and again.

And remember that every Wednesday is BINGO WEDNESDAY and open to the public! Bring your friends.
